I have been blessed and will hopefully be doing research my FIRST year. Can I just die? I’m so damn elated. My friend (older Cal student) told me that she had a friend (hydrologist) who was looking for help. I just want to die of how happy I am.

This is exactly what I want.

The only drawback would be that I won’t be able to join many other activities/orgs.

I face the possibility of not joining/auditioning for:

 -Surf Club

 -The Golden Overtones

 -Cal Band/Straw Hat Band

But I can’t say no to research. I haven’t even started and I already LOVE my school.

I never thought that I would go to Berkeley. 
When I first saw the campus I wasn’t too in love with it.

But now I just want to be there already!

I just want everything to be perfect! :D
I’m beginning to love Cal so much.

One of my former teachers told me that I belong at Cal and I think I really do.
I’m so happy that I got into Cal :’D and all of the wonderful opportunities that they offer are magnificent.
